Maybe not mother old,

but definitely babysitter material.”

That was seven minutes before

Eighteenth Century British Poetry and Prose—

with Dr. Raymond—started.

I don’t remember what I had said,

or what she said after that,

but I do remember my smile

and the heat of a Georgia sun.
